Chase Briscoe Racing won’t miss the mark in its quest for the Golden Driller--with backing from Bear Archery in the 2021 Chili Bowl Nationals.

Bear Archery will serve as an associate sponsor for both Chase Briscoe and Chase Elliott starting with this weekend’s Carolina Midget Showdown at Millbridge Raceway in Salisbury, N.C.

Bear Archery, a division of Escalade Sports, was founded by bow-hunter pioneer Fred Bear in 1933. The Evansville, Indiana-based global manufacturer and distributor of sports and outdoor recreational equipment will be prominently displayed on both the No. 5 CBR midget piloted by Briscoe and the No. 9 Diaedge Racing midget driven by Elliott in the NASCAR Cup champion’s maiden voyage at Tulsa Expo Raceway.

“On behalf of everyone at Bear Archery, we are thrilled to partner with CBR as an associate sponsor for the Chili Bowl Nationals in addition to our primary sponsorship of the Swindell Speedlab team,” said Scott Sincerbeaux Chief Executive Officer of Escalade Sports. “Chase Briscoe is a rising star and helps us further enhance our brand awareness. In addition, we are proud to be part of Chase Elliott’s first attempt at the Chili Bowl Nationals.”

Briscoe, who turns 26 on Dec. 15, is coming off a breakthrough season in NASCAR’s Xfinity Series where he led the tour with nine wins. He’ll make his NASCAR Cup debut driving the iconic No. 14 Ford for his childhood hero Tony Stewart at Stewart-Haas Racing in 2021.

Briscoe will be making his seventh attempt to win the Golden Driller in next month’s 35th running of the Chili Bowl Nationals—the Super Bowl of Midget Racing.

“I’m super excited to have Bear Archery on board," Briscoe said. "They are a company that last year really invested into sprint car and grassroots racing, and what better place to add them to my car than at Millbridge and Chili Bowl.

"I’m a big fan of all their products at Escalade Sports, so this is a great partnership, and hopefully we can continue this for many years.”
